Daffodil International University organizes International Conference Sino-Bangla Sino-Bangla News Publish: 12:47 PM, March 29, 2022 Sino-Bangla Desk: With the theme of “Business, Macroeconomic Applications, and Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Development”, the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship, Daffodil International University organized International Conference on Business Management, Macroeconomic Applications, and Entrepreneurship Principles & Practices for Sustainable Development: Issues & Challenges. Two days International Conference was successfully held on 27-28 March 2022 at the Daffodil Smart City, Ashulia, Dhaka. In the opening session, Professor Mohammed Masum Iqbal, Ph.D. welcomed all distinguished guests as conveners of the conference. The chief guest of this opening session was Prof Dr. Mesbahuddin Ahmed, Chairman of the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC). Professor Dr. Goutam Sengupta, Vice-Chancellor of Techno India University addressed the audience as a keynote speaker and Prof. Dr. SM. Mahbubul Haque Majumder graced the program as the session chair. Throughout the day-1 session, in total there were four rooms where dignified international and local researchers have presented their papers. In the first slot of the program, two parallel sessions were conducted; among them, one slot was dedicated to international researchers where session chairs were Dr. Syed Shams, University of Southern Queensland, Dr. Tanvir Abir, Daffodil International University & Ms. Tanzina Hossain respectively. In a parallel session, Dr. Muhammad Mehedi Masud, University of Malaya & Dr. Abdur Rouf, Daffodil International University were present as session chairs. The Second slot, started at 3.00 pm where another two parallel sessions went well where: Dr. Salmi Mohd Isa, University Sains Malaysia & Sayed Farrukh Ahmed, Daffodil International University were present in one room as session chairs and Dr. AKM Mohsin, Dr. Abdur Rahman and Dr. Sayedul Anam were the sessions chairs in another room. The conference covered representatives from 7 countries and a total of 74 research papers were presented. International guests and academicians give their advice by evaluating the research paper and its presentation. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, DIU addressed the conference as the special guest and focused on the necessity of innovation and implementation of the research outcome to solve the socio-economic problems of the world. Among others Prof. Dr. Md. Shah Azam, Vice-Chancellor of Rabindra University, and Prof. Dr. M Lutfar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of DIU addressed the closing session as the distinguished guests.
