International Rotary Youth Leadership Awards 2024 held in Bangladesh

A four-day International Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Program, IRYLA 2024, was held at Comilla Brac Learning Center in Bangladesh which is hosted by the Rotary Club of Chittagong Crown. Rotarian PDRR CP Zia Uddin Haider was the Chairman of this Event. About 100 young men and women aged 14 to 30 participated in it sponsored by Rotary Clubs of different regions of India, Nepal, and Bangladesh.

RYLA is a training camp for youth under the age of 14-30 years. It is an intensive training program for the youth who are chosen for their proven or potential leadership abilities.

The trainers included Shoaib Uddin Khan – Senior Judicial Magistrate, Cox’s Bazar; Rashedul Amin, Senior Executive Vice President & Zonal Head, Southeast Bank Plc.; Sajin Kaushik, Secretary of Immigration, Socialist Youth Assembly, Lisbon, Portugal; Syed Azhar Sarwar Bappi, Head of Business, Partex Star Group; Adv Hussain Ahmed Shipon, Advocate-Bangladesh Supreme Court; Yusuf Ifti, Corporate Trainer and CEO of Future Icon; Tanveer Shahriar Rimon, CEO- Real Estate & Sea Fishing, Rencon; KM Ripon Hasan, Managing Director, Global Entrepreneurship Network Bangladesh.

First aid training was conducted by Red Crescent Youth Comilla. Participants also take part in various competitions like Debate Competition, Public Speaking, Cultural programs, Cricket, Volleyball, and Badminton Games. Based on these 4-day sessions and various competitions, participants were awarded prizes in various categories.

Rotarians and Senior Rotaractors from Comilla and various regions were present at this Training Camp.
