Guinean students in China celebrated Guinea Independence day Sino-Bangla Sino-Bangla News Publish: 11:00 PM, October 2, 2022 Sino-Bangla Desk: Guinean students who are studying in different universities in China’s Jiangxi province celebrated the 64th Guinean Independence Day in a colorful manner. Students from other countries such as China, Zimbabwe, Russia, Congo, Morocco, Ghana, and Bangladesh were invited to be a part of the celebration. The Association of Guinean Students in Nanchang city organized a celebration party with dinner at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics on the 2nd of October evening. In the program, Guinean students were briefly introduced to their country to international students, watched promotional videos about Guinea, and displayed Guinean local foods with the participants. One of the organizers Tonguino Emmanuel said October 1st is China’s National day, coincidentally, October 2nd is Guinea’s National Day. China and Guinea have strong historical cooperation. Even, the (first) embassy of China in Africa was built in Guinea. We organized this event to introduce our country’s history and culture to international students. So that we can learn from each other, progress, and grow together. Bangladeshi student Mohammad Saiyedul Islam said I am honored to be able to celebrate 64th Guinean Independence Day on campus with other Chinese and foreign students. I really enjoyed the program very much, especially the Guinean local foods. Definitely, I will visit Guinea someday. SHARES China Subject:
