3rd Chinese Corner of DIUBRRC held via digital platform

Sino-Bangla Desk: With the slogan of “We are one”, the Daffodil International University Belt and Road Research Centre in Bangladesh has magnificently organized its 3rd Chinese Corner with a collaboration of the Overseas Education School of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics in China as a part of the year-long series activities of Chinese corner under the name of “Bangladesh & China Youth Talk 2022-23”.

On Monday afternoon, this Chinese Corner has successfully held via Zoom link. The main objective of this Chinese Corner is to develop and enhance deep ties between two nations through the exchange of language, literature, and cross-cultural activities on a blended platform.

Professor Dr Mohammed Masum Iqbal, Dean of Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship (FBE) at Daffodil International University and Director of Daffodil International University Belt and Road Research Centre chaired the Chinese Corner. Dr AKM Mohsin, the Deputy Director of the DIU Belt and Road Research Centre have moderated the Chinese Corner in collaboration with Research Associate Fahid Khan and Afnan Hossain Priyo.

It was a cultural showdown of both the nation with numerous activities such as dumpling preparation, paper boats, traditional music and dances, and many more. It was an event that truly justified the theme of cross-cultural exchange.

Noted that, Daffodil International University Belt and Road Research Centre aims to produce academic and policy papers and enable the development of area-specific research topics on the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). This is the first complete China-based think-tank in Bangladesh, particularly China’s Belt and Road Initiative.
