Diplomatic envoys and diplomats from 17 countries to China visited Guangxi

China Correspondent: Bangladesh Ambassador H. E. Md. Jashim Uddin visited Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to continue bridging Bangladesh with China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and to increase friendly exchanges and practical cooperation.

From April 3 to 5, China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a visit to Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region with foreign ambassadors and diplomats assigned to the country. Including Bangladesh, ambassadors and diplomats from 17 countries in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, and South America participated in this visit.

Ambassador Md. Jashim Uddin participated in this visit at the invitation of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. At that time, the Commercial Counselor of the Bangladesh Embassy to China Mr. Mohammad Monsour Uddin was with the Ambassador.

The visit resulted in friendly exchanges with China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to promote cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, culture, and tourism between Bangladesh.

H.E. Mr. Abrao dos Santos, Timor-Leste’s Ambassador to China; H.E. Dr.Palitha Kohona Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to China; H.E. Mr.Tuvshin Badral, Mongolian Ambassador to China; H.E. Mr. Bishnu Pukar Shrestha, Nepali Ambassador to China; and other diplomats were also present on this visit.

During the trip, the ambassadors and diplomatic representatives visited China (Guangxi) Free Trade Pilot Zone Qinzhou Port Area and the Pinglu Canal construction, Beibu Gulf Smart Port Innovation Center and Guangxi Beibu Gulf International Port Group Company Limited, and China-Singapore Nanning International Logistics Park. Ambassadors and diplomatic representatives also attended a promotional meeting on the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.
